We stayed in the Pensione for 2 nights visiting family in Leichhardt. We booked the self contained unit. The bedroom was small but very clean and comfortable. kitchen / dining / living area with double pull out futon bed. Futon bed wasn’t the most comfortable for our adult son. Plenty of supplies for breakfast with toaster and microwave. Great location for Norton Street and restaurants of Leichhardt. Good value for money and would recommend if you don’t want to be in the city but close enough by bus.

Friendly and Comfortable B&B

Maria and Alfio were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

There were lots of nice touches, plenty of soft towels, a hair drier, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a fridge restocked each day with fruit, milk, butter, jam etc

It is a good location with many restaurants and an excellent bus service in to town.

Perfectly positioned – a short stroll to Norton street where I attend Palace cinema for the French Film Festival and eat Italian at Bar Italia. If you want to go into the city there are plenty of buses & it’s about a 20 minute ride. There is parking out the back albeit tight – practice your confined parking skills. The room is spacious & shared bathroom adequate – for $80 a night for a single person it’s fantastic value. The hosts are gracious & friendly – it’s like staying with your grandparents. There is a kitchen with tv & basic breakfast food but I prefer to take advantage of restaurants on Norton Street. If you want 5 stars with chandeliers & chocolates on your pillow at night this is not the place for you but if you want clean, comfortable, reasonably priced & friendly book now!

Excellent friendly accommodation, like a home away from home!

Stay here for two weeks so far and its a nice clean place. Host are very nice. Hidden gem B&B Leichhardt.

A perfect place to stay at when visiting friends in Leickhart. Lovely people who manage the place. Quiet and clean. I will return when I am visiting Leichart again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while on a mini-vacation in Leichhardt for the New Year. Maria is very nice, and willing to accommodate you with just about anything.The Rooms are fantastic, with a nice view of the neighborhood ,friendly staff.
